As always, the Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) has a spectacular stage running as we speak, but 2022 has delivered several outstanding winners - including in the Israel Football Association edition.
The Israeli logo has been controversial for a while, owing to its uncanny similarity to the version sported by Ireland, so it was well-deserving of the DF challenge treatment.
The entries mainly kept to being Star of David-based, with some retaining the match-ball look too, but, once the voting was done, it was elfisho who came out on top with a restrained-but-impactful design worthy of victory.
Another superb showcase of DF members’ skills. May they long continue.
