Jamaica, for people of a certain age, act as a second team to support in international football.
The Reggae Boyz’ appearance at the France ’98 World Cup in 1998, representing the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), surprised many - through their qualification and their displays - and they’ve held a place in many hearts ever since, so this stage of the Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) excited plenty of members.
The results includedan array of excellent entries, such as lovely shields from illuminaqi and NotBAD - both with quirks to add flavour - and something unorthodox from mbullockdesigns that we can imagine looking incredibly impactful on Jamaican shirts.
Beyond this, things went a little circular. MrCOYS’s effort would be very, very brave - fortune can favour those who deploy bravery, after all - and Tombot’s submission was, in effect, constrained by Aegon for the win, with Rabbi, again, in effect, adding flourishes.
So what a collection of options in an alternative reality. And so many would be worthy of the job.
