The 238th edition of the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge was centred on recently crowned Thai League 1 champions Buriram United.
With such a distinctive and well-known main sponsor, it’s perhaps unsurprising that many people get Everton FC vibes from “Thunder Castle”’ shirts, so it was nice to see so many entries in this stage which couldn’t for a second be confused with an outfit for the Merseysiders.
Indeed, the beautifully decorated winning entry, from Sithuralom, was in a maroon tone, while a bold effort from kunto seemed like a mix of that Celtic Away from 1991 and that Southend United Home from 1996 - in the best possible way.
Congrats to Sithuralom, and never let similarities with a certain English Premier League team be mentioned again…
