If you’re not aware of Saint George Sports Club (SC) - or Kidus Giorgis Sport Club - they’re kind of a big deal, in the Ethiopian Premier League at least.
That’s good enough for us, so the Addis Ababa-based side got a stage in the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge, and their colours and identity made it a good one.
As it turned out, one notable entry was the third kit design from MrCOYS - which would work well for plenty of teams - but two of the three entries that made the podium were in the striking yellow with red chevron.
The exception was fayed’s submission - a black-and-gold beauty worthy of silver - but the third place and winning positions were taken up by a very classy creation from Oakleighman and the same, but different, from OTHYcreative, respectively.
That’s what the voting gave us anyway. But these things are subjective and, as always with KOTW, there was merit to everything uploaded.
