Hamilton-based Forge Football Club (FC) are one of the biggest teams in the Canadian Premier League, so of course they’ve made it to the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge.

DF members certainly had fun with the stage, with, for example, Dan808 deploying their trademark glow effect for a sparky affair nodding to the inspiration for the team name, and RedCardConcepts instead focussing on the incredibly close partnership with coffeehouse sponsor Tim Hortons - good enough to eat!

There’s been a lot of love for the Georgia national team recently so perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that they made an appearance in our Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW).

The 408th stage was dedicated to Jvarosnebi (The Crusaders) and the Georgian Football Federation (GFF), with most entries focussing on takes on the current national team badge’s image of St George slaying the legendary dragon.

The 357th stage of the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge centred on Paraguayan Primera División giants Club Libertad.

The Asunción-based side do fun things with their nominally black-and-white-striped look and DF members don’t need asking twice.

Some Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stages are about the profile of a team, some are about the aesthetics of a team’s identity, and some are a little from column A and a little from column B.

The 407th stage, dedicated to the Denmark national team and the DBU (Dansk Boldspil-Union/Danish Football Union), definitely fitted into that third category.

There’s little more exciting on DF than a Unione Calcio (UC) Sampdoria upload, so imagine how heart rates quickened at the news of a Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge stage dedicated to I Blucerchiati.

It was no less superb than we’d’ve dreamt it. With plenty choosing to push the envelope, it wasn’t entirely for the purists, but certainly forward-looking neutrals - if any kit nerd’s a neutral when it comes to Samp - will have been enchanted by the entries.

Johor Darul Ta'zim FC - JDT - are the current Malaysia Super League champions and that’s a pretty good justification for a Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stage.

And what a stage it was, with various styles deployed by members to provide Harimau Selatan with alternatives to their current emblem.
