The bottom design definitely has something good to it, I am not convinced by the one at the top however.

Maybe you could give a bit of insight into the sport, as I have been thinking about the idea of introducing an upload section for sports other than football.

yeah youve got a point there, didnt even think about it looking like man city's, but it does. might redo it a bit and change the shoulder detail
